ABC Teachers is seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work in an SEN School in Walsall on a full-time basis. The Role: Work alongside the class teacher and support staff to deliver tailored 1:1 and small-group learning. Adapt activities and resources to suit different learning styles and sensory needs. Support students in developing independence, communication, and life skills. Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing. Assist with personal care, mobility support, and use of specialist equipment where required. Requirements As the suitable candidate you will: Have a suitable qualification for working with children and young people such as Health and Social Care, Children and Young People's Workforce. Have experience of working with children with special education needs and disabilities. Be confident in your abilities and skills to promote happy and confident learners. Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are a suitable qualification for working with children and experience working with special education needs.
