Collections Driver Team Leader – 37 hours per week, permanent, Grade 6 – £28,598 to £31,022 per annum. Location: Kutton Lane Depot, Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Responsibilities
* Lead a team of up to two crew members as a professional driver team leader.
* Motivate your team and work closely with other team leaders and crews to ensure efficient service completion.
* Oversee collection rounds and team health and safety, provide feedback on collections and any issues, use in-cab devices, and assist with bin loading.
* Deliver excellent customer service, dealing with residents in a polite and professional manner and explaining services confidently.
* Arrangements for CPC and training will be funded and completed during the working day.
* Maintain sound health and safety knowledge of the industry and ensure safe systems of work and incident reporting procedures are followed.
Requirements
* Must be able to work weekends and Bank Holidays as required.
* Current valid HGV Class 2/LGV C and current CPC card. Ideally experience of stop-start HGV driving and manoeuvring in residential areas, prior work on collection services, and use of in-cab technology such as Bartec Collective.
* Awareness that waste services are changing and an interest in developing “Green Skills” for our people.
