A respected and long-established accountancy practice just outside Cambridge is seeking an ACA/ACCA qualified or nearly qualified accountant to join its Audit & Accounts team.This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or part-qualified professional to take the next step in their career, working within a close-knit, supportive team that values collaboration, professional growth, and career progression.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Prepare statutory financial statements and management accounts for a varied client portfolio.
2. Assist in planning and delivering audits across multiple sectors.
3. Prepare corporation taxputations and personal tax returns.
4. Build strong client relationships, providing day-to-day support and advice.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of work.
Training & Development
6. Work closely with experienced managers and directors, gaining exposure to diverse technical areas.
7. Benefit from ongoing training, mentoring, and hands-on development.
8. Support and supervise junior team members, offering guidance and feedback.
9. Take an active role in your own professional growth while contributing to team learning.
About You
10. ACA or ACCA qualified (part-qualified also considered).
11. Previous experience in an accountancy practice, with audit exposure.
12. Strong technical understanding of accounting and auditing standards.
13. Excellentmunication and organisational skills.
14. Confident with accounting software and Microsoft Office.
