Job Description
Key responsibilities for the Procurement Specialist:
3. Drafting clear and compliant tender documents within tight deadlines
4. Issuing tender documents promptly and managing the procurement process
5. Undertaking thorough tender analysis and managing contract award procedures
6. Supporting bid writing, specifically the procurement sections
7. Applying a strong understanding of the New Procurement Act in day-to-day activities
8. Reviewing existing frameworks in preparation for forthcoming tenders
The Successful Applicant
A successful Procurement Specialist should have:
9. Proven experience in procurement within the public sector
10. Ability to deliver high-quality work quickly and independently
11. Strong knowledge of current procurement legislation, including the New Procurement Act
12. Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
13. Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
What's on Offer
14. Daily rate of £300 to £450, depending on experience and qualifications.
15. Remote role / Part-time (2/3 days per week)
