As part of their expansion, they’re looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Graduate EV Site Planning Assistant to join their team. This is an office-based, entry-level administrative and research role - ideal for recent graduates with an interest in mapping, sustainability, or infrastructure. Note: this is not a field-based or engineering role, and no site travel is required. Role Overview You’ll be responsible for helping identify suitable locations for on-street EV charging points using online mapping tools (e.g., Google Maps, GIS). Working from a list of UK postcodes and streets, you’ll assess potential sites and create basic layout documents to support planning and rollout teams. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in the rapidly growing EV industry while building skills in project support, mapping, and sustainable infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Use Google Maps and similar tools to review locations for potential EV charger installations. Create simple design documents showing charger and parking bay placements. Capture and record site details using screenshots, notes, and templates. Organise site information and progress updates using internal tools (e.g., Excel, CRM, project tracking platforms). Support cross-functional teams with site data and planning admin. Maintain internal site databases and ensure information is kept up to date. Ideal Candidate We’re looking for someone who is: A recent graduate or early-career professional with strong administrative and digital skills. Confident using mapping tools such as Google Maps (experience with GIS is a plus, not required). Organised, accurate, and detail-oriented when working with data and documents. Interested in sustainability, transport, or urban planning. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; able to produce clean, basic visuals or layouts. Comfortable working independently and managing their own tasks. Preferred Background: Degree or interest in Geography, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, or similar. No prior experience in EV is necessary - just a willingness to learn.
