We are currently representing a well-established accountancy practice based in Rotherham, seeking a newly qualified Senior Accountant to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP for a varied client base
* Reviewing the work of junior staff and providing guidance
* Managing a portfolio of clients and building strong client relationships
* Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and providing advice to clients
* Liaising with HMRC and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
* Identifying and implementing improvements to client processes and procedures
Key Requirements:
* ACA/ACCA newly qualified (or equivalent)
* Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and UK tax laws
* Experience of working in a practice environment
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in accounting software
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
