Reports to: Digital & IT Director
Salary: £52,241 – £54,241 per annum (dependent on location)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: hours per week
Location: Wigan or London (with hybrid working available) or remote based in England
About the role
Keep Britain Tidy is investing in ambitious digital innovation to support its environmental mission and is recruiting a talented Digital & IT Business Analyst to play a central role in shaping and delivering its digital and technology roadmap.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the organisation at a pivotal time, where you will turn complex analysis into a clear, structured journey, guiding stakeholders from current state through to practical, deliverable solutions.
Working closely with the Digital & IT Director, you will contribute to a range of initiatives including digital platform analysis and enhancement, alongside infrastructure reviews, ensuring systems, processes and data are aligned to organisational goals.
Key responsibilities
1. Lead the end-to-end definition and agreement of business and technical requirements
2. Capture “as-is” and design “to-be” processes that drive meaningful improvements
3. Translate analysis into clear, stakeholder-focused journeys and delivery plans
4. Analyse and review both digital platforms and IT infrastructure, identifying opportunities for improvement
5. Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, delivering high-quality outputs to tight deadlines
6. Conduct impact assessments, identifying risks, dependencies and business implications
7. Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders across the organisation
8. Support structured testing (including UAT) to ensure solutions meet real business needs
9. Produce high-quality documentation to support delivery and long-term adoption
About you
You are an experienced Digital & IT Business Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys bringing clarity to complexity. You are confident working across multiple priorities and can deliver high-quality outputs under pressure.
You will bring:
10. Proven experience in digital and IT business analysis
11. Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
12. The ability to work to tight deadlines without compromising quality
13. Experience analysing and improving digital platforms and infrastructure
14. Strong process mapping, data analysis and requirements gathering expertise
15. A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to take ownership
16. Experience with Agile, PRINCE2 or similar delivery methodologies
A genuine interest in the not-for-profit sector and a passion for supporting environmental impact is desirable.
