Outline of Role
As a Process Engineer, the successful candidate will support the pre-production process from bid stage to production release.
Remuneration and Benefits
A competitive wage will be offered depending on experience. Benefits include up to 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays, pro-rata), a 5% employer pension contribution, discounted gym memberships within Fife, and Life Assurance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The process engineer will support pre-production activities to ensure technical requirements are understood from bid to production. This role collaborates with sales, procurement, projects, QA, and technical teams.
* Create engineering master routing templates.
* Manage manufacturing routings and estimate corrections.
* Handle drawing change management.
* Support sales and estimating, including technical reviews and manufacturing capability discussions with clients.
* Review equipment and plant capabilities to meet customer orders and BOMs.
* Provide manufacturing routing that meets contractual requirements and specifications.
* Ensure routing efficiency and that routing packs include all relevant drawings.
* Maintain routing information with current revisions.
* Liaise with other departments on customer requirements, specifications, drawings, and BOMs.
* Prioritize workload according to requirements.
* Participate actively in meetings.

Education and Training
* Time-served engineer.
* Minimum of 5 years welding and machine shop manufacturing experience.
