What's the Job About?
We are seeking a qualified Control and Instrumentation Engineer to join our team in delivering engineering projects for onshore fuel pipelines and associated facilities.
Responsibilities
* Project Planning & Management: Manage project delivery from approval to commissioning. Ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and HSSEQ standards. Prepare project plans and manage resources effectively.
* Design & Engineering: Develop detailed control system designs and drawings. Conduct risk assessments and design reviews. Apply industry standards and engineering judgment to develop effective solutions.
* Communication & Coordination: Maintain direct contact with clients and stakeholders. Coordinate engineers, CAD operators, field staff, contractors, and suppliers.
* Procurement & Contract Management: Prepare tender documentation and evaluate bids. Monitor spend and approve invoices in line with project budgets.
* Construction & Commissioning: Oversee site-based construction contracts. Collaborate with site teams to meet health and safety targets. Assist in developing commissioning strategies and plans.
Requirements
* Degree in Electrical, or Instrumentation and Control Engineering
* Experience in designing, developing, testing, and commissioning control systems
* Client-facing roles and multidisciplinary team collaboration
* Tendering, budgeting, and producing technical documentation
* Developing of I/O and instrument indexes
* Data analysis and reporting abilities
* Critical thinking, strong communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities
* A full and valid driving licence.
