Hire Desk Controller (Temp to Perm) - IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE
We're looking for a reliable, organised Hire Desk Controller to support a busy hire operation on a temp‑to‑perm basis. You'll manage day‑to‑day hire/off‑hire admin, produce pro‑forma invoices, prepare damage quotations, and coordinate a small fleet (1 HGV + six 3.5t vehicles).

Key Responsibilities
* Manage hire/off‑hire bookings, amendments and returns
* Produce pro‑forma invoices and maintain billing records
* Create damage quotations and follow‑up paperwork
* Coordinate vehicle movements and availability
* Liaise with customers, drivers and workshop teams
* Maintain accurate system updates, spreadsheets and audit trails
* Handle customer queries and disputes
* Support month‑end and billing reconciliation
Skills & Experience
* Hire desk, fleet admin or similar background
* Strong admin, organisation and numeracy skills
* Experience with pro‑forma invoices/damage quotes
* Confident overseeing HGV and 3.5t vehicle coordination
* Good IT skills (MS Office; hire/fleet systems desirable)
* Excellent communication and ability to work under pressure
* High attention to detail; ability to prioritise
* Full UK driving licence preferred
