Position: Groundworker
Location: Isle of Grain, Kent

Overview:
A well-established construction company is seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundworker to join their dynamic team on the Isle of Grain. This role is crucial in supporting the successful completion of various construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform general groundworks including excavation, trenching, concreting, and site preparation.
2. Assist with the installation of drainage systems, utilities, and other infrastructure.
3. Operate a variety of hand and power tools.
4. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.
5. Work collaboratively with other team members and site supervisors to meet project deadlines.
6. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
7. Valid Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
8. Previous experience in groundworks and general labouring on construction sites.
9. Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
10. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
11. Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour tasks.
12. A valid Dumper Ticket is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
13. Proven experience operating a dumper truck.
14. Additional construction-related certifications or training.
