Compliance Advisory officer
My client is a multinational energy firm who are looking for an experienced corporate compliance Analyst/Junior Manager to join their team. In this role you will be advising the business across their different entities globally. In this role you will get great exposure to large cross boarder projects
This role will provide a great opportunity to grow and develop in a supportive and collaborative environment however in one that you will be expected to take ownership and make decisions as well as providing advise to every level within the group.
To succeed in this role you will need to be able to learn quickly and be able to relay complex information back to the business in a simple and clear way. Be able to drive change through strategic and creative solutions.
Role Responsibilities
* Provide day to day support and advice to businesses on compliance issues
* Provide guidance on areas code of conduct, Speak-up, conflicts, anti-bribery, anti-money laundering, Sanctions, data privacy, and any other key compliance areas
* Support the implementation of corporate compliance framework
* Assist in sanctions and regulations
* Develop and deliver compliance training to across the Group
* Conduct analysis of compliance risks for new projects
* Advise business teams on any remediations actions in regards to any activities
* Contribute to refining existing or introducing new compliance initiatives
* Implementation of systems and controls in relation to regulatory, corporate and legal risks
* Undertaking additional activities as directed by Compliance Management
1. Qualifications
* A successful background working on Corporate Compliance topics.
* Bachelor’s degree
* Minimum 4 years of experience working as a Compliance professional.
* Experience in Energy or Commodities trading would be advantageous.
* Strong understanding of the impact of sanctions and ABC laws on business operations.
