Project Manager - Water Infrastructure (Contract, Outside IR35) North West England (Cheshire to Carlisle) Fully On-site An established delivery partner working on the United Utilities Capital Delivery Framework is seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of vital water infrastructure projects across the North West. This is a contract role, offered outside IR35. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage water infrastructure projects within the Capital Delivery Framework Oversee project timelines, budgets, resources, and risk management Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and client stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution Ensure all works comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards Deliver regular progress reports and updates to senior leadership Supervise on-site operations to ensure high-quality and timely delivery Foster strong relationships with stakeholders through clear and proactive communication Requirements: Proven experience in civil project management, preferably within the water/utilities sector Strong understanding of the Capital Delivery Framework and infrastructure delivery models Ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent stakeholder and client communication skills Strong working knowledge of construction safety regulations and standards Proficient in project management software and reporting tools Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or related field Flexibility to work fully on-site across the North West (Cheshire to Carlisle) If you're an experienced Project Manager looking for a rewarding contract opportunity in the water infrastructure sector, we'd love to hear from you.
