Join Our Team as a Lifeguard!
Salary: £12.21 for all ages (16+)
Are you ready to dive into an exciting role where safety meets fun? Whether you’re a seasoned lifeguard or just starting out, we’ve got you covered! If you hold a lifeguard qualification, that’s fantastic! If not, we’ll provide you with the training you need through our NPLQ course.
Your Role
As a lifeguard at our Splash Waterworld, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a fantastic and safe experience. Your responsibilities will include:
* Monitoring pool areas to ensure guest safety
* Providing exceptional customer service and engaging with guests of all ages
* Promoting and running fun poolside activities
* Maintaining a keen attention to detail
This position offers flexible contracts ranging from 8 to 35 hours per week, perfect for students or anyone looking to balance work with other commitments. Start dates are available now through September!
Be prepared for a mix of midweek and weekend shifts, including evening finishes.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Confident and friendly, able to engage with guests of all ages
* A strong swimmer with great attention to detail
* Reliable, flexible, and punctual
While you’ll be part of a supportive team, there will be times when you’ll supervise areas independently. If you’re successful, you’ll need to complete a Butlin’s swim test, which includes:
* Swimming 50m in under 75 seconds
* Treading water
* Surface diving
* Climbing out of the pool unaided
Parental permission is required for applicants under 18.
