At present, University Hospitals of North Midlands is unable to offer visa sponsorship for Band 2 to Band 4 roles, as these positions do not meet the minimum salary and skill thresholds required under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations.
We have a vacancy for a clinical support worker role within the surgical team.
Responsibilities
The role demands a dynamic individual who has the ability to work well within a team. The successful candidate will be required to provide essential activities of daily living care to our pre and post operative patients. You will have the ability to communicate effectively and to work in line with the Trust policies and procedures. The role of clinical support worker is a crucial part of the nursing team.
The ward comprises pre and post operative patients who require a level of support with their hygiene needs and mobility, with the scope to empower self-care and promote independence and health promotion.
You will support in general infection prevention measures in the team including decluttering and cleaning the ward environment. Assistance for patients who require mobility support and effective meal service. Requirement to have good communication skills to allow professional interactions with the patients, their families and the nursing staff.
