Role Summary
The Portfolio Manager will work within the business unit on priority projects across brands. They will be responsible for:
· Planning, development and implementation of the strategic projects aligned with core brands for the UK (aligned with ICO and Global plans) to deliver the revenue expectation for the brand(s) against OPEX commitments.
· Key design principle – commercial flexibility. Programmes across brands.
· Drive customer operation excellence at country level and bring customer insight into BU to influence/shape strategy and projects/tactics.
· Implement omnichannel campaigns in line with vaccines operating plan
· Deploy knowledge of and execute end-to-end campaigns and customer engagement projects
· Experience with data, analytics and insights with the ability to interpret data into meaningful information to help steer decision making
· Coordinate the in-country cross functional team
· Co-ordinate flawless implementation/roll-out of projects/tactics including patient, customer, KOL and pathway initiatives.
· Logistical support to brand team supporting processes
Key responsibilities
Market Leadership
Develop & maintain a thorough understanding of the marketplace for the assigned brand to inform planning and revenue forecasting
Lead brand OPEX and ensure appropriate phasing of full year expenditure in line with operating plan DME
Support brand OPEX management and ensure appropriate phasing of full year expenditure in line with operating plan DME
Seek & develop insights into the needs of all customer groups within the assigned disease area to inform strategy and influence local implementation of brand tactics

Maintain thorough understanding of customer needs and behaviours, including emerging roles of customers within the NHS
Lead development of field force training and work with XFT to deliver
Strategic and operational planning
Develop a close working relationship with the IDM Commercial Office colleagues
Ensure UK market is represented within IDM CO to tactics and resources to drive brand success in the UK
Analyse customer issues and opportunities impacting on the performance of brand
and develop appropriate programmes and activities to address issues/capitalize on opportunities as required and incorporate into plan
Ensure broad XFT plans are clear, complementary, focused and developed with both innovation and customer insights
Evaluation
Put in place relevant systems and metrics to monitor the success and performance impact of plans and patient, customer, KOL and pathway programmes, against agreed targets
Agree adapted and modified programmes as required, according to emerging customer/business issues and opportunities.
Monitor and report on delivery of key stakeholder programmes and activities against approved operating budgets, including adherence to relevant financial policies and procedures
External & Internal Ambassador
* Work with the Code team and agencies to ensure timely and compliant project materials approvals for meetings and contracts.
* Horizon scanning of key NHS policy & structural change to determine impact on brand in conjunction with Cross Functional Team.
* Conduct all activities and make all decisions in accordance with Company policies & SOPs, Pfizer Values, & the requirements of the ABPI Code of Practice
Customer Engagement & Insight
* Ensure that customer and patient Insights as well as market issues are well understood and processed into the local business plans
* Demonstrate and implement a clear understanding of what value can mean to the system, customers and patients given current national policy, guidance, and the healthcare environment to inform brand plans.
* Develop deep understanding of all potential customers, and support the development and delivery of customer engagement strategy for all customer groups.
Financial Planning
* Ability to manage & prioritise resources across customers in line with Global Strategy & IDM Commercial Office and in dialogue with customer facing functions.
* Ability to analyse data, interpret, track vs KPls (key performance indicators), build business cases and communicate clear, actionable recommendations.
Qualifications
* Graduate or graduate level equivalent
* Fully conversant with requirements of ABPI Code of Practice
* Strong knowledge of NHS - Structures/ Functionality/ Processes/ Partnerships
* Numerate and articulate, being able to communicate at all levels.
* Strategic thinking capability
* Track record of working collaboratively with others across functions
* Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with a track record of building strong lasting professional relationships.
This role is based at our Walton Oaks office in Tadworth with flexible working possible, and the occasional requirement for travel.
