About the Role:
Deliver engaging and interactive French and/or Spanish lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to teach KS5
Immerse students in the richness of language, culture, and practical communication skills
Inspire a passion for languages using dynamic teaching methods, digital tools, and authentic materials
Plan and implement a modern, inclusive MFL curriculum tailored to support all learners
Support international initiatives such as language days, exchange programs, and cultural events
Use effective assessment strategies to monitor progress and enhance language fluency
Collaborate with a dedicated MFL team to improve student outcomes and foster enthusiasm for language learning
The ideal candidate will:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or is currently working towards it
Degree in French, Spanish, or a related discipline
Strong knowledge of language teaching methods and excellent communication skills
Confident teaching one or both languages up to GCSE level (A-Level teaching experience is advantageous)
Committed to inclusivity, cultural awareness, and maintaining high expectations
Creative, adaptable, and passionate about helping students become confident global communicators
