Job Overview

As part of the TE Connectivity AD&M team, you will join a group of professionals committed to driving business growth whilst maintaining integrity, accountability, collaboration & continuous improvement.

As Quality Compliance Engineer, you will liaise with auditing organisations, notifying bodies & regulatory authorities as required, & manage all internal audits. You will oversee the implementation of global procedures, address gaps & report performance measures to support quality improvements & compliance. Additionally you will provide expertise & guidance to ensure manufacturing aligns with regulatory requirements & site procedures.

Your new role:

2. Represent, support, maintain & oversee all aspects of the site Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring regulatory compliance.
3. Ensure awareness of compliance with regulatory certifications, TE Global QMS & customer requirements.
4. Manage & complete the internal audit programme, ensuring timely identification & effective closure of Non-Conformances & Opportunities for Improvement.
5. Manage all internal, 3rd-party & customer audits & certifications, including follow-up to close observations, improvements & corrective/preventive actions for major & minor non-conformances.
6. Where required/requested, manage or support the Value Stream Quality Engineer during customer quality site visits.
7. Continuously review & update QMS documentation to ensure policies, procedures & objectives remain current & aligned with standards & regulations.
8. Support the roll-out of global procedures to standardise processes & standards on site.
9. Report compliance-related Quality KBMs (KPIs) at the required frequency.
10. Manage & maintain office 5S activities & visual management.
11. Effectively manage own workload & prioritise tasks based on production requirements & business impacts to the QMS.
12. Work under flexible schedules, including extended hours when required.
13. Carry out any other reasonable request by management.
14. Understand site EH&S policies & procedures & work safely at all times, following health & safety guidelines.

Your ideal background:

15. Strong knowledge of ISO9001 or AS9100 or IATF16949 or similar international standard with experience in conducting quality system audits (internal &/or external)
16. Experience in a manufacturing plant environment in a Quality or Engineering role gained in an aerospace, military or automotive environment applicable to auditing.
17. Experience of quality planning plus implementation of quality tools (NCR’s, Histogram, Pareto, PFMEA, Controls plans)
18. Organised with high degree of motivation and self-initiative, managing multiple tasks, and can adapt to changing priorities, accomplishing them in a timely manner
19. Strong team spirit, ability to influence and drive cross functional teamwork, ability to work well with internal and external customers, and with other cultures
20. Strong verbal and written
