Overall Purpose of the Job:
To oversee and manage engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget. The Engineering Project Manager will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, communicate with clients, manage risks, and ensure technical compliance with UK and international standards.

Key Activities and Accountabilities
Skills and Knowledge:
* Strong project planning and engineering management expertise.
* Leadership in coordinating technical teams and resources.
* Risk assessment, cost control, and quality assurance in engineering projects.
* Understanding of project management methodologies (PRINCE2, Agile, or PMP).
* Ability to interpret and review engineering drawings and specifications.
* Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
* Proven ability to manage contractors, suppliers, and clients effectively.
* Knowledge of UK engineering standards, HSE regulations, and compliance.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills under tight deadlines.
Main Duties
* Plan, direct, and coordinate engineering and technical project activities.
* Prepare project timelines, budgets, and progress reports.
* Liaise with clients to define technical requirements and deliverables.
* Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
* Monitor and manage project risks, costs, and resource allocations.
* Ensure compliance with UK safety standards and company procedures.
* Conduct regular project reviews and quality audits.
* Prepare and submit technical documentation and reports.
* Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
* Contribute to process improvement and innovation within the organisation.
What Do We Need?
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* A Bachelor's degree and Master's (preferred) in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
* Minimum 3 years' experience in engineering project management.
* Strong technical knowledge and practical project experience.
* Familiarity with engineering design principles and project lifecycle management.
* Competence in budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
* Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and technical reporting tools.
* Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
* Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
