Equipment Maintenance Technician Reporting To: Section Head I, TE Sustainment Work Schedule: Onsite Tewkesbury, GBR Moog Aircraft Group is hiring a dependable and skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team on a permanent nightshift in Tewkesbury.
In this hands-on role, youll be responsible for the repair and preventative maintenance of hydraulic and electronic equipment that supports our advanced test and production systems.
Youll work closely with the Maintenance Team Lead and collaborate with Machine Tool Technicians to ensure equipment is calibrated, compliant, and production-readysupporting over 150 test systems and up to 10 concurrent support activities.
Delivering preventative maintenance and repair support for hydraulic, electronic, and test equipment Supporting machine tool maintenance when required Ensuring all repairs meet internal and external audit standards, with calibrated handover to production Managing parts procurement and inventory for efficient, cost-effective maintenance Maintaining accurate risk assessments and adhering to health and safety protocols Participating in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives across work areas What makes this role unique: Youll work on multi-axis, closed-loop, servo-hydraulic and electromechanical test systems Youll be part of a collaborative, high-performance maintenance team that values precision, reliability, and teamwork Youll help resolve time-sensitive issues under pressure, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills What youll bring: A vocational qualification in engineering and 5 years experience in hydraulic, mechanical, or mechatronic roles Familiarity with electronic circuits and diagnostics for complex test systems Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with Indysoft, Teamcenter, PIRANA is a plus A proactive, trustworthy approach with high personal standards and a commitment to team success What We Offer: Flexible benefits package and development opportunities to support career progression 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) Private medical insurance, mental health support and financial advice Generous life assurance and company pension contribution (from 6%) Employee share options, free onsite parking, EV charging and gym facilities We review applications on an ongoing basis, and the job posting will be closed once a suitable candidate is selected.
