What Does the Role Look Like?
Actuation Systems, a subsidiary of Collins Aerospace (a Raytheon Technologies company), with an annual turnover of $1.6bn and a global presence, is a leader in advanced solutions for aerospace and defence.
In this role, you will serve as the primary contact for Actuation Aftermarket, providing financial analysis and support to senior leadership. You will oversee the financial performance of the global repair network, including Flightsense, and support the Aftermarket strategy to drive growth. As part of the ASA leadership team, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams in Global Ops, Finance, Business Development, and Customer Support to enhance commercial success.
Responsibilities:
* Support the Aftermarket Director with strategic direction, investments, P&L management, accounting, and compliance.
* Oversee all financial reporting for Aftermarket Finance, including forecasting and planning.
* Assist the FlightSense Program Manager with governance, cost management, and risk identification.
* Manage Flightsense EAC and transition plans under Project Redwood.
* Oversee R&O processes for Aftermarket and global repair, driving communication on performance and forecasts.
* Identify and implement process improvements in financial analysis functions.
* Collaborate on pricing strategies with Strategy and Analytics, Pricing, and other teams.
* Act as a financial approver for proposals and business cases.
* Ensure compliance with RTX policies, US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, and international standards.
Qualifications:
* Strong business acumen and experience in a commercial environment.
* Data-driven with advanced Excel skills and experience managing complex data sets.
* Proactive, curious, and able to seek improvements independently.
* Familiarity with Program Finance (EAC) and Power by the Hour contracts.
* Experience working within a matrix structure and managing multiple stakeholders.
* FP&A experience in manufacturing or engineering sectors.
* Experience in aftermarket or service sales.
