Salary range: £45,022 (pro rata) p.a. inc. London weighting
Contract: Fixed term/Secondment – until 31 July 2026
Hours of work: 36 hours per week
Location: Brent Start Hillside Centre and other locations from time to time
The Post
As an Assistant Curriculum Manager, you will be dedicated to delivering learning success through close collaboration with the teaching team. Your focus will be on the success of the learners to support improvement within the department. You will support the Curriculum Manager in the delivery, design and development of our Maths and Vocational programmes, maintaining an oversight of the student journey to ensure they have an excellent learning experience.
The Person
* You will have detailed knowledge and experience of current teaching and learning strategies.
* You will possess a generic adult teaching/training qualification at level 5 e.g. DTTLS or equivalent.
* You will have a good knowledge of national, regional and local priorities for adult and community learning provision as well as an understanding of the Education Inspection Framework and funding methodologies and their impact on courses and programmes of learning.
* You will have experience of teaching both accredited and non-accredited courses.
* You will have the ability to contribute to quality improvement of the curriculum including internally verifying accredited courses, monitoring RARPA processes on non-accredited courses, delivering staff development, checking and advising on the completion of course documentation.
