Associate Director in Acoustics

We are seeking an Associate Director in Acoustics to join a Environment and Infrastructure team in Manchester. This role offers the opportunity to lead diverse projects, ranging from small-scale residential developments to large-scale infrastructure initiatives, while shaping the future of the acoustics consultancy arm of this global multidisciplinary consutlancy. With a clear pathway for professional growth, this position provides room to progress to Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities

As an Associate Director in Acoustics, your role will include:

5. Technical Leadership: Oversee and deliver complex acoustic projects, ensuring technical excellence.
6. Business Development: Cultivate client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
7. Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a team of acoustics professionals, fostering development and high performance.

10. Site Work: Conduct on-site assessments and oversee technical documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

To thrive as an Associate Director in Acoustics, you will need:

11. A degree in Acoustics, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
12. Membership in a professional body such as the Institute of Acoustics (IOA).
13. Proven expertise in noise and vibration consultancy across sectors.
14. Strong team leadership and client relationship skills.
