What the Job Involves As a Ground Maintenance Operative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining public open spaces, verges, planting, schools, and contracted sites within the County. This involves working either individually or as part of a team to achieve the Council’s goals in providing a quality and sustainable environment. Your duties will include primary ground maintenance activities as well as participation in street services like litter picking and addressing fly-tipping. You will work under the supervision of an Area Supervisor to ensure Safe Working Practices are maintained at all times.
