Growth Marketing Specialist
u-blox AG is a global leader in positioning and wireless communication technologies. We have built our business around selling GNSS modules through established semiconductor channels. Our positioning services are disrupting how customers access precise positioning — especially for drone developers, UGVs, roboticists, and ag-tech innovators.
We’re now looking for a resourceful, data-driven Growth Marketing Specialist with 2-4 years experience to help us find and activate our ideal customers online. This person will help identify developer communities, run digital experiments, and work cross-functionally to bring the right users into our orbit and convert them to users of our services and products.
This role would involve three days per week working in our Bournemouth office base and two days per week working from home.
Your Responsibilities
Community & Audience Growth
1. Discover and engage in niche communities (LinkedIn groups, Reddit, Discords, GitHub, dev forums)
2. Seed meaningful conversations and links that drive awareness of our Services
3. Monitor community feedback, trends, and needs related to our Services
Growth Experimentation & Campaigns
4. Run lightweight experiments to test messaging, hooks, and CTAs
5. A/B test content and creative in channels like LinkedIn
Search & Content Discovery Strategy
6. Collaborate with other marketing functions to influence creation of high-impact content
7. Conduct keyword and trend research
8. Track platform and search term performance
Influencer & Partner Seeding
9. Identify creators and tool developers aligned with our audience
10. Coordinate influencer campaigns or paid placements with our corporate marketing team
Analytics & Reporting
11. Build dashboards with marketing ops to show engagement and lead metrics
12. Use GA4, LinkedIn tools and Salesforce Pardot to track performance
Collaboration & Tools
13. Work closely with our internal web, product marketing, and content teams
14. Align with business development and sales
15. Tools: Not limited to but including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Relay.app, Phantombuster, ChatGPT, GA4 etc.
Your Skills and Experience
16. 2–4 years in growth, marketing, product, or community roles
17. Passion for developer/technical audiences
18. Experience with experiments across digital channels
19. Strong writing and communication skills
20. Curious, entrepreneurial spirit
Nice-to-Haves
21. Exposure to hardware/semiconductor/IoT marketing
22. Familiarity with drone, robotics, or GNSS applications
23. Comfortable engaging online as a real human, not a brand voice
