We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the Global Security Testing Team within Global Information Security (GIS) as a Security Testing Consultant.
The Global Information Security (GIS) team is responsible for driving the development, deployment, and management of information and cyber security across the putershare businesses, globally.
Through partnerships with the business units, Technology Services, and other support functions, the Global Information Security team actively supports the business objectives whilst reducing the overall risk to putershare.

A role you will love
The Security Testing Consultants are responsible for execution of penetration testing and red team services under the direction of the team manager and senior consultants.
As technical specialists in the field, the consultants act as a point of technical escalation for all queries relating to offensive security testing techniques to assess the effectiveness and design of security controls. They are also responsible for assessing and proposing improvements to tooling, updating processes and methodologies, and working with senior consultants and the team manager to design and trial new techniques as part of the team's continuous improvement process.
Some other key responsibilities include:
1. Mentoring junior consultants and suggesting opportunities for career growth.
2. Reviewing and editing testing standards and processes, assessing and proposing improvements.
3. Performing full-stack penetration testing of components from cloud systems to on-prem infrastructure, web apps, APIs, databases, and networks.
4. Advising testing analysts on scope and quality of routine testing performed by testing partners.
5. Producing reports on completed tests in a timely manner and to standards.
6. Reviewing scoping documents and reports produced by internal and external resources, providing feedback as required.
What will you bring to the role?
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in participating in the scoping and delivery of penetration tests, including comprehensive testing of web apps, APIs, databases, servers (Unix and Windows), and network segmentation/firewall testing.
You should have a comprehensive understanding of testing methodologies and attack vectors across multiple technology stacks, with proven experience in exploiting vulnerabilities. Experience with cloud technologies and penetration testing against these solutions is also required.
Additional key skills include:
* Extensive experience in executing penetration tests across a wide range of technology stacks, both in the cloud and on-premises.
* Experience in purple team testing alongside a blue team, and involvement in red team activities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Highly organized with an attention to detail.
* Experience working with technical specialists from outsourced partners and suppliers.
* Multiple security qualifications such as CRT, EJPT, OSCP, GPEN, CEH, Security+, Pentest+ or equivalent.
* Willingness to work towards further qualifications like CISSP and CPSA.
