Process Engineer - Permanent role, £40K - £55K plus bonus, pension, holidays
We are recruiting a Process Engineer due to recent project awards. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
1. Ability to operate independently and as part of a team, performing tasks such as production, verification, review, or approval of raw water envelope, influent characterisation, process performance reports, process outline design calculations, PFDs, equipment specifications, process control philosophies, technical reports, and schematics.
2. Leadership in process optimisation and advisory services for new and existing water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, and related infrastructure.
3. Identify and develop innovative and optimised technical solutions aligned with client needs, collaborating with laboratories on chemical analysis and with software teams to develop new process optimisation tools.
4. Coordinate and lead collaborative efforts within multidisciplinary teams (process, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, ICA).
5. Build and maintain relationships with clients and partners, managing technical, commercial, and project progress matters.
6. Ensure projects comply with technical, legislative, quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
* Extensive expertise in the technical execution of process plant systems within complex water industry projects.
* Proficiency in digital design methodologies for design and construction initiatives.
* Proven leadership skills fostering collaboration within teams.
* Significant experience in the water and/or wastewater sectors.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
