The Role of the Business Analyst
Preliminary Investigations
* Conduct preliminary studies to identify areas of improvement in business processes and information structures through new IT solutions
* Maintain contacts with clients, agencies, production companies, and visionaries for investigations or studies
* Analyze business issues related to IT to identify strengths and weaknesses
* Summarize and present investigation results in line with departmental standards
Business Case Development
* Assist project managers in preparing business cases for new IT solutions
* Support in developing organizational design, processes, and technology roadmaps
* Align solutions with customer processes, IT principles, and policies
* Validate solutions with infrastructure architects and evaluate implementation risks
Continuous Improvement
* Support projects to optimize IT solutions and business processes
