Job Description

Parts ManagerLead a team, shape a department, and drive parts performance at a high-profile depot. This role gives you the chance to take ownership of a busy Parts Department where your decisions have a direct impact on customer service and branch results.What you will doYou will coordinate and distribute the teams workload to maximise parts sales while keeping a close eye on stock quality and quantities. You will also manage a small team, developing their skills and ensuring they deliver excellent service.Your key responsibilities include:

* Organising and maintaining the Parts Department, ensuring a clean, efficient, and safe working environment.
* Executing all parts processes accurately and consistently.
* Managing supplier and manufacturer relationships to secure competitive pricing.
* Submitting parts warranty and return claims within required timeframes to achieve maximum credit.
* Overseeing the day-to-day running of the department to meet branch performance targets.
* Training, developing, and motivating your team.
* Ensuring customers receive a high-quality service that consistently exceeds expectations.

What you will bring

* 35 years experience in the parts business.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide others.
* Confidence in analysing and interpreting internal reports.
* Ability to use standard computer applications and internet functions.
* High-level communication and interpersonal skills.
* Familiarity with John Deere products and competitors.
* Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends when needed.
