Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Haverfordwest
Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off – Days & Nights
We are currently recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established food manufacturing site in Haverfordwest. This is a hands-on role working on a 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights shift pattern, offering a great balance between work and time off.
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of production machinery, responding to breakdowns and completing planned preventative maintenance in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
The Role
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across site equipment
Respond quickly and effectively to reactive breakdowns to minimise downtime
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on production machinery
Work on a range of equipment including packaging machines, conveyors, washers, and weighing systems
Prioritise workload effectively to support production demands
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with food manufacturing and health & safety standards
Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate issues clearly to the wider team
About You
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience
Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production environment (preferred)
Comfortable working on both PPM and reactive maintenance
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills and good time management
Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
