Receptionist/Administrator
Prospero Teaching are working with an independent special school in the BCP area that is currently recruiting for a Receptionist/Administrator to join their dedicated team.
This welcoming and inclusive setting provides academic and vocational education to young people across KS3, KS4 and Post-16 who may experience barriers to learning. The school is committed to supporting every pupils wellbeing, confidence, and personal growth alongside their academic development.
As a Receptionist/Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the school office. Youll be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, manage communication between staff and parents, maintain records, support school systems, and provide general administrative support across the team.

1. Location: Poole
2. Position: Receptionist/Administrator
3. Type of work: Front office and administrative support within a school environment
4. Contract start date: ASAP
5. Duration / Likely Duration: Permanent
6. Contract type: Term-time only, full-time
7. Salary: From £20,954 per annum (dependent on experience)
8. Hours: Full-time, term time
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
9. GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
10. Experience in administration or receptionist roles (school experience desirable)
11. Confident using Microsoft Office and other IT systems
12. Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills
13. Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
14. Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and equality policies
Eligibility:
15. Hold Right to Work in the UK
16. An enhanced child-barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service (or be willing to process a new application)
17. Provide two professional references
