Join Sysco GB, a leader in the food industry, at our new state-of-the-art site in Hemel Hempstead. We are committed to creating an excellent working environment and are looking for a Facilities Manager to lead our site facilities engineering team.
Role Overview
As Facilities Manager, you will oversee the maintenance and operation of our plant, equipment, and buildings, ensuring they meet the needs of our clients and colleagues. Your responsibilities include conducting audits, inspections, managing health and safety, planning capital projects, and coordinating contractors. You will also develop maintenance and project plans and contribute to continuous site performance improvements.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience as a Facilities Manager, preferably within FMCG or logistics sectors
* Strong background in engineering and compliance management
* Experience in improving maintenance and asset management performance
* Project management skills, familiar with CDM, GMP, 5S, and TPM methodologies
* Budget management experience
* Excellent problem-solving and team leadership abilities
* Knowledge of key systems such as fire safety, water, air supply, refrigeration, electricity, and dock doors
