We are looking for a reliable and experienced Supervisor to support drainage works on a major highways project near Tewkesbury. This freelance role is ideal for someone with strong highways experience and a hands-on approach to site supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
·Supervise site operations with a focus on drainage works, ensuring all activities are carried out safely and to specification.
·Coordinate site teams, plant, and subcontractors to ensure works progress efficiently.
·Monitor quality and productivity on site, ensuring adherence to project standards.
·Conduct regular toolbox talks, site briefings, and safety checks.
·Assist with site documentation such as daily diaries, permits, and work records.
·Report progress and any issues to the Site Agent or Project Manager.
·Ensure health and safety procedures are strictly followed at all times.
Requirements:
·Previous experience supervising drainage works on highways or infrastructure projects.
·Valid SSSTS or SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification.
·Good knowledge of drainage installation methods, plant, and materials.
·Strong communication and team coordination skills.
·NRSWA Supervisor and/or Cat & Genny training (advantageous).
·Full UK driving licence and own transport.
