Accountant GL & Process Specialist (SAP Essential)
West London | Hybrid/Flexible
A well-established international organisation is seeking a GL Accountant & Process Specialist to join its Finance team. This role is ideal for a technically strong accountant with deep SAP ERP expertise and a passion for process improvement and digitalisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and maintain accurate General Ledger records with full audit trail
* Lead balance sheet reconciliations (AR, AP, Stock, Fixed Assets)
* Deliver month-end close, intercompany reconciliations & variance analysis
* Produce management reporting and financial insights
* Review and set inventory standard costs
* Strengthen credit control processes and Opex controls
* Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
* Support internal and external audits
* Drive process optimisation, automation & finance digitalisation initiatives
* Support budgeting and forecasting
Requirements
* ACCA/CIMA qualified or part-qualified with 5+ years' experience
* Strong SAP ERP experience (ESSENTIAL) - FICO advantageous
* Advanced Excel skills
* Experience with BI tools (eg SAP Analytics Cloud)
* Experience with automated Order-to-Pay processes desirable
* Process-driven, systems-oriented mindset
* Fluent English (Spanish desirable)
* Right to work in the UK
