Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement strategic supply chain plans aligned with the organization's aerospace business objectives.
* Manage SIOP processes, supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure the quality and timely delivery of materials and products.
* Lead a team of purchasing & supply chain professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
* Analyse supply chain data and performance to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
* Ensure compliance with aerospace industry regulations and standards.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to streamline operations.
* Monitor market trends and adapt strategies to maintain competitiveness.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience in supply chain management within the aerospace industry.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Ability to analyse complex data and develop actionable strategies.
* Knowledge of aerospace industry regulations and standards.
* Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
