Engineering Manager – London (Hybrid) up to £120k + Benefits – AWS, TypeScript, React, Next.js, CI/CD
We’re looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to join a fast-growing HRTech / SaaS scale-up. Offering hybrid working from London and a salary up to £120k, this role combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering across a modern stack: AWS (Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Postgres, CDK), TypeScript, React, Next.js, Jest, Playwright, CI/CD and observability tools.
You’ll help establish and grow the Core Services team, building scalable architecture, developer tooling, and platform services that power multiple product squads. Expect around 70–80% coding and architecture with 20–30% management, reporting directly to the CTO. Over time, you’ll grow and mentor a team of up to seven engineers while shaping the company’s engineering culture and technology choices.
