We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Advisor to join our client’s HR team. The role supports the HR Manager across the full employee lifecycle while driving HR projects and initiatives.
Location: Tewkesbury (Fully office‑based). Hours: 40 hours per week. Department: Human Resources.
Responsibilities
* Offering expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on a wide range of HR matters from employee relations to performance and absence management
* Supporting and coaching line managers to help them grow their people management skills
* Handling generalist HR administration such as contract changes, leavers, and retention
* Partnering with departments including Payroll, Recruitment, and L&D to ensure a seamless people experience
* Playing a key role in HR projects and policy updates that support our HR strategy
* Analysing HR data and reporting on key metrics to drive continuous improvement
* Promoting employee benefits, representing us at local job fairs and schools, and being a champion for positive workplace culture
Qualifications
* CIPD Level 5 qualified
* A confident communicator with a warm and engaging approach
* Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
* Highly organised and calm under pressure, with a proactive mindset
* Skilled in building trusted relationships at all levels of a business
* Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team
Desirable
* Experience in a multi‑site organisation
* Knowledge of HR systems and project delivery
