What you will do
Our Quality, Health, Safety, and Security (QHSS) team is expanding, and we need a Quality Engineer to act as the key liaison for quality.
You will be at the heart of the action, working closely with manufacturing, design, and supply chain teams. Your mission: to collaboratively identify potential failures, prevent issues before they start, and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
You will also be:
1. Developing and implementing quality assurance processes and procedures (including ISO standards and CE/UKCA marking).
2. Interpreting detailed engineering drawings and specifications to define quality requirements.
3. Analysing any quality performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
4. Conducting root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
5. Collaborating with suppliers to ensuring incoming materials and services meet specifications.
6. Using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and supporting 5S principles.
7. Supporting non-conformance management and ensure effective resolution

Profile
What we are looking for
8. Degree or HNC/HND in Engineering, Quality Management (or similar) OR experience working in similar Quality Engineer role (in a manufacturing or engineering environment).
9. Comfortable using a range of Quality tools, techniques and quality management systems – (ie ISO 9001, IATF 16949, 8D, FMEA, SPC, PPAP, MSA).
10. Experience with ISO auditing (internal or external) preferred
11. Good communication and cross-functional teamwork abilities.
