Your Role as a SENCO:
• Oversee the school’s SEN provision and ensure high-quality support for students with additional needs.
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to implement effective strategies.
• Develop and review EHCPs to support student progress.
• Lead and manage a team of SEN staff, providing training where necessary.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of interventions and adapt them as needed.
• Ensure compliance with SEND legislation and school policies.
Who We’re Looking For:
• A qualified SENCO with the National SENCO Award (or willingness to obtain it).
• Strong experience in SEND leadership and provision.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A passion for inclusion and a commitment to student success.
• An Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
