Description Grade UE02: £24,547 per annum pro-rata as part-time Information Services Group / Corporate / Facilities Part-time: 9 hours per week (0.26 FTE) Working pattern: One weekend day (Saturday or Sunday), 8:00am – 5:00pm (including 60-minute paid lunch break) Open-ended (permanent) Vacancies available: 2 Together we can do great things. The Opportunity: We are seeking two IS Facilities Weekend Assistants to join the Information Services Facilities team, supporting operations at the Main Library, 30 George Square, in the heart of the Central Campus. You will play a key role in ensuring the Library provides a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for students and visitors. Occasional work at alternative locations and overtime opportunities may arise to meet business needs. You will work closely with the wider Facilities Assistant team, with opportunities for skill sharing and development. The post is directly managed by the IS Facilities Weekend Supervisor. This role offers the opportunity to make a clear impact on student experience while working in one of the University’s most prominent buildings. This post is part-time (9 hours per week). This post is not suitable for hybrid working, and will be 100% on-campus (in Edinburgh).
