GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join schools in the Hoyland (S74) area immediately. This role offers the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, develop students’ programming and computational thinking skills, and foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities as a Computer Science Teacher: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum for Computer Science. Inspire pupils to develop programming, problem-solving, and digital literacy skills. Support pupils’ academic and personal development through interactive and practical teaching methods. Maintain high standards of classroom management and pupil behaviour. Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to enhance learning outcomes. Requirements for Computer Science Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory. Strong knowledge of Computer Science concepts, programming languages, and computing curriculum. Excellent classroom management, organisational, and communication skills. Enthusiasm, creativity, and the ability to engage and inspire students. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
