Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sevenoaks for a Field Services Engineer. The Field Services Engineer will perform routine service, preventive maintenance, and repairs for a range of material handling equipment. Must have previous experience of port equipment such as container handlers and 16 Tonne upwards forklifts. Responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues, providing technical support, and ensuring timely and efficient customer service. Liaising with clients, the engineer will ensure equipment is operational and meets customer requirements while maintaining timely communication and a professional approach.
Qualifications
* A good work proven experience of all forklifts over 16 tonne and including container handling equipment
* Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support for material handling equipment
* Strong Customer Service skills, with an emphasis on communication and client satisfaction
* Ability to work independently and flexibly in an on-site environment
* Mechanical or electrical engineering qualification or equivalent experience
* Understanding of health and safety regulations related to materials handling equipment
