We are looking for a highly motivated, adaptable and conscientious full time Senior Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officer to join our existing team.
An exciting opportunity for a supervisory role working within the distribution area of the Pharmacy Department at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital has become available.
Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day operational organisation and supervision of the distribution team, ensuring a smooth and efficient service is provided to our wards and clinics.
* Provide training and support to develop leadership skills for supervising the distribution team and maintain/improve service levels.
* Oversee and organise the smooth running of daily activities of the distribution team and assist other pharmacy staff on rotation.
* Undertake improvement work under the supervision of relevant Senior Technicians.
* Work closely with the Stores area to ensure coverage meets the needs of the service.
* Work will be supported by clear standard operating procedures and guidance from the Senior Pharmacy Technician.
Qualifications
* Recent relevant Pharmacy and supervisory experience essential.
* Must hold NVQ level 2 in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
* Recent relevant leadership/supervisory experience required.
