Maintenance Manager (ICA)

Location: Hybrid Working, 3 office/site days a week.
Work type: Permanent, 37 hours per week, Monday‑Friday. Standby requirement.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Manager (ICA) to join the Asset Maintenance team at Yorkshire Water and help deliver the best service to our customers.

Responsibilities
* Lead the ICA team to deliver excellent performance, set clear expectations linked to business targets, and manage performance discussions
* Drive high standards of health & safety, risk management, and work control, ensuring compliance with the YW Safety Policy
* Provide SME support to manage incidents and minimise environmental and customer impact, resolving customer‑impeding issues swiftly
* Manage team and individual performance to increase productivity and quality outputs, implementing best practice
* Provide engineering services for assets, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality assurance requirements through effective planning, monitoring, control, operation and optimisation
* Complete quality assurance audits of maintenance activities for both internal and contracted work
* Maintain real‑time understanding of key assets and operational performance, risks and priorities; maximise asset availability in line with engineering plans and procedures
* Participate in the out‑of‑hours standby rota
Qualifications
* Experience managing and leading a team, with a proven track record of driving sustainable performance against challenging business targets
* MEICA‑based apprenticeship or engineering degree (or equivalent). (ONC/HNC/BTEC in Electrical, ICA or Mechanical Engineering)
* Proficiency in using a CMMS such as SAP to manage work activity
* Resource management skills to identify priorities and actions that deliver results
* Valid full driving licence with no more than six points
* Experience in business planning, resource and budget management
Desirable
* Previous experience in a wastewater or similar utilities, process, and manufacturing background
* Experience in an engineering/operational/strategic leadership role in a commercially orientated and/or regulated environment
