We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nurse Manager to join our clinical research site leadership team. This pivotal role supports the Site Manager in driving operational excellence, including profit and loss optimisation, while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and compliant clinical research services. You will lead nursing activities across all phases of clinical trials in accordance with ICH/GCP guidelines and local regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Leadership
* Collaborate with the Site Manager to optimise site performance, resource allocation, and financial outcomes.
* Contribute to strategic planning and execution of site goals, KPIs, and business development initiatives.
* Lead and mentor the nursing team, fostering a culture of accountability, clinical excellence, and continuous improvement.
Clinical Trial Oversight
* Oversee nursing activities from trial initiation to close-out, ensuring adherence to ICH/GCP and protocol-specific requirements.
* Coordinate with sponsors, CROs, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth trial conduct and timely data collection.
* Support feasibility assessments, site initiation visits, and monitor visits as the clinical lead.
Quality & Compliance
* Ensure the clinical area operates in full compliance with regulatory standards, SOPs, and ethical guidelines.
* Lead internal audits and support external inspections, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
* Maintain accurate documentation and ensure robust reporting of adverse events and protocol deviations.
Staff Development & Patient Care
* Recruit, train, and supervise nursing staff, ensuring competency in clinical trial procedures and patient safety.
* Promote a patient-centric approach, ensuring informed consent, dignity, and comfort throughout the research process.
* Act as a clinical resource for complex procedures, protocol interpretation, and emergency response.
Qualifications & Experience
* Registered Nurse (RN) with active license to practice.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical research within a leadership role
* Strong knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines and clinical trial operations.
* Proven ability to manage teams, budgets, and operational metrics.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
