Mechanical Project Manager
£65,000 - £70,000 + package (DOE)

Overview
We are working with a well-established and highly regarded M&E contractor based in Ipswich who are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager. The role will involve managing large-scale commercial projects from pre-construction through to final handover, with mechanical values up to £8 million.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage mechanical services packages on large commercial projects from inception to completion.
* Take full ownership of project delivery including programme, cost control, quality, and health & safety.
* Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, main contractors, and internal delivery teams.
* Manage subcontractors, procurement, and material scheduling.
* Oversee commissioning, snagging, and final handover.
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
* Produce regular progress reports and attend project meetings.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the M&E / building services sector.
* Experience delivering commercial projects, ideally with values up to £8m.
* Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services (HVAC, pipework, plant, etc.).
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Strong commercial awareness and cost control experience.
* Relevant mechanical or building services qualification (preferred).
* SMSTS / CSCS (or willingness to obtain).
