Due to expansion, Aspris Tor View School is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our Education team!
We are looking for versatile, resilient, and committed Teaching Assistants who can adapt their practice across all key stages. The successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher, assisting children with their work and supporting pupil behaviour, while establishing good relationships, acting as a role model, and responding to individual needs.

Tor View School is a special school that supports young people with Autism, trauma-related interruptions, communication needs, and learning difficulties. We provide an appropriate curriculum in a supportive environment in Devon. With typical class sizes of 4, we dedicate care and attention to help students access education and achieve their goals.

Your Day-to-Day Duties
* Assist the class teacher in supporting children’s work and behaviour
* Build good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and responding to their needs
* Encourage pupils to interact and participate in activities
* Help plan lessons by preparing materials and resources
