University Hospitals Dorset (UHD) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Band 7 Pharmacist to join our dynamic Cancer Services Pharmacy Team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop specialist knowledge and provide high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients across Oncology, Haematology, and Palliative Care services.
The role offers exposure to both clinical and technical aspects of cancer pharmacy, supporting the safe prescribing, screening, and delivery of systemic anti‑cancer therapy (SACT), alongside involvement in aseptic services and service development initiatives.
You will work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team across UHD, contributing to patient‑centred care while developing advanced clinical and operational skills within a specialist area.
Base: University Hospitals Dorset – cross‑site working (Poole and Royal Bournemouth Hospital)

This role includes weekend working (4 hours every Sunday, as part of a 1‑in‑5 rota), as well as early and late shifts within cancer services.
