This is an exciting opportunity to join the new Wider Achievement and Lifelong Learning Service as an Active Schools Co‑ordinator with a remit for providing the Active Schools Service to children and young people in the Trinity Academy Learning Community.
With a strong understanding of the benefits of sport and physical activity, you will have experience of working in this field and be driven to create opportunities, inspire people and have a proven track record of changing lives through sport and physical activity.
An Active Schools Co‑ordinator aims to increase the number and diversity of children and young people taking part in sport and physical activity.
The focus will include:
* Working collaboratively with school staff, pupils, volunteers, local partners and clubs to develop and deliver a diverse programme of sport and physical activities
* Developing pathways from extracurricular to community clubs
* Supporting participants from priority groups to participate in activities
