Operating from five strategically located sites across the UK, we supply a comprehensive range of high-quality timber products including sawn and machined hardwoods and softwoods, flooring, decking, cladding, sheet materials, and engineered timber solutions.
We are currently seeking an experienced Hardwood Pack Sales Trader to join our dynamic and highly respected team based at our Skelmersdale site, covering the Midlands, Northern England, and Scotland.
This is an exciting opportunity for commercially minded, results-driven individuals with a proven ability to close deals and drive business growth. The role offers significant autonomy, regional travel, and the chance to play a key part in a growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive hardwood pack sales and negotiate high-value deals
* Maintain and grow an existing client base while developing new business opportunities
* Manage stock levels and ensure supply meets customer demand
* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients
* Deliver against sales targets and contribute to margin improvement
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for self-motivated and ambitious individuals who demonstrate:
* Previous experience within the timber or related sector
* Strong commercial awareness and a strategic mindset
* Proven B2B sales and client relationship management skills
* Ability to identify new market opportunities and develop a customer base
* Experience in stock control and inventory management
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Good IT literacy and CRM proficiency
